CORI and Safe Environment Information

All Information and links regarding the  Safe Environment Requirements to Minister/Work/Volunteer in the Catholic Schools in the Fall River Diocese can be found on the Catholic School Alliance website. 

For all of our volunteers here at SMCS, a simplified list consists of the  "Essential Three" noted below:

• CORI FORM accompanied with VALID DRIVER'S LICENCE ID (every 3 years as of Jan 1,2025)
• CODE OF CONDUCT  (every 3 years - acknowledge)  
• SAFE ENVIRONMENT TRAINING CERTIFICATE (renewed every 3  years as of Jan 1, 2025 or directed by OSE) 

All volunteers must have on file  a completed "Essential Three" packet.  Please send all paper documents directly to our office here at Saint Mary's Catholic School.

If you have lived in Rhode Island in the past 10 years, the ORIGINAL notarized RI Resident Disclaimer is required. (every 3 years as of Jan 1, 2025)

If you have lived anywhere outside of Massachusetts or Rhode Island in the past 10 years,  the CMG Connect National Background Check is Required every 6 years as of Jan 1, 2025.
