Music

All students, from Preschool through Grade 8 have music class once a week.

Each class enjoys learning about music in a very fun energized way. They sing, they dance, they play instruments, and they move to the beat. They learn and enjoy many upbeat songs to keep the music going all day long. All grades are introduced to Music Theory and Music Appreciation all at an age appropriate level.

In addition, the students will be taught the songs that will be sung at our monthly school Masses. By practicing these songs each week, the Church will be filled with beautiful voices as we worship together.

Our students will also have many opportunities to perform throughout the year at our Christmas Pageant, Classroom Talent Shows, Celebration of the Arts, Theater Production, and our Spring Concert! Each performance is not to be missed as the students work very hard to put on their best production!

Students in grades 2-8 also have the opportunity to take instrumental lessons on a weekly basis with the Music Stars program.
